Flowers

Good morning everyone. Today at the Polkadoodles blog we have been challenged to use flowers on our makes. For you the challenge is as always anything goes.
So here is my make

I used the fab stamps from the Daisy Days collection. You can get the stamps on their own HERE if you wish to. I did lots of masking and used different inks to stamp the images with onto watercolour paper. I masked the edges of the paper so the stamps wold have a border around them. I then used my Kuretake Zig Art and Graphic pens to water colour the flowers and background. I added a couple of squiggly lines with a black fine liner pen and then mounted to picture on to 3D foam.

So don't forget to go to the blog and check out me teamies makes.
Thanks for visiting and commenting, I really appreciate it. xx

I coloured the image with my Copics.
The papers are from a stack I got cheap at the Doncaster Crafting Live show last July. It's from Joy! Crafts and it's called Noor's favourites paper bloc.

Use a design sheet

Good morning and a very happy
For this week the team were challenged to use a design sheet and I chose one from the adorable Winston collection. Here is my make

I've used a cream card blank and printed the design sheet onto cream paper to give it a different look. I've added some faux stitching around the edges of the card which I love to do but this time it fits the theme perfectly! All the elements are mounted onto 3D foam to give them more dimension.
Everything on the card is from the design sheet, nothing added at all.

Not a card for Mum.

Good morning and happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make something for Mothers day that wasn't a card, and here is what I made.

It does look like a card from the front but it isn't it is a wooden standing plaque. I got this in the sale somewhere for 50p and kept it for altering and upcycling into something better. Firstly I painted it with white gesso to give it a base and to cover the wording that was on it. Then I used the script stamp for the Belle Papillon stamp set and stamped all around the edges. Then I used 2 papers from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles collection, inked around the edges and glued in place. I stamped out some foliage and the bird and butterflies from the Belle Papillon stamp set, and then die cut them with their coordinating dies. I then used the fence from the Winnie collection and watercoloured it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi pains and mounted on 3D foam. I glued the rest of the embellies in place. Then I coloured up the new Primrose digi stamp and mounted her onto 3D foam and place her on the plaque. Finally I used the sentiment from the stamp set and stamped direct on to the paper.

This shows how all of Polkadoodles collections can be used together, whether they be stamps, dies or digital download images and collections.
Now don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out today's massive discount code and or course to check out my teamies makes!

Green

Good morning and a very happy

Our new challenge for the team over at the Digi Choosday blog today is to use lots of green. Well this one is always a challenge for me as I really don't like the colour green. So after looking through my massive Polkadoodles collection for inspiration I suddenly remember there was an army topper in Work and Play 2 collection that would be great for this challenge so I went with that. There are also a male and a female army image in the collection too should you want to use those.
I printed the topper twice so I could decoupage the truck, and matched some papers to the image. I then thought it need a little bit of something else so I added 3 simple wooden buttons.
Now don't forget to pop over to the team blog to check out my fab teamies makes and to get the massive discount code that is only available to use for 24 hours!

Design Sheet make

Hello and welcome. I'm sharing my latest make from Polkadoodles today. Over at the blog the team have been challenge to once again use a design sheet. I think people often overlook these but they are amazing. They are fab for when you need to make something quickly. They are fab for those who are not sure what goes with what, and they are fab for those who have lost their mojo. I love them, especially the Polkadoodles ones as you get so much on them. Anyhoo enough waffling and more sharing.
For this card I have used design sheet 10 from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection. You can get the whole collection on download HERE. Or on CD HERE. And of course you can just buy individual bits if you wish HERE.
Now don't forget to pop over to the blog and check out me teamies fab makes for more inspiration.

Use a design sheet

Good morning, I'm here today with a make for the Polkadoodles challenge blog. The challenge for you as always is Anything Goes, but for this challenge the team were asked to use a design sheet and here is my make.
I've used design sheet 5 from the Winnie In Wonderland Collection. This card is an 8x8 one so it shows how much you get on these design sheets and that they work perfectly with any size card you want to make.

Ribbon or lace

Good morning and Happy Digi Choosday to you all.
This week over at the blog the team were challenged to use some ribbon or lace and here is my make.

To make this colourful tag I ink up some white linen card and then cut it in the shape of a tag. I added a squiggly line around the edges to frame it. I then fussy cut some left  over elements from a Winnie In Wonderland design sheet I used to make a card and mounted them onto the tag using 3D foam. Then I finished it off by adding some sparkly ribbon. So on this tag there are 2 faux ribbon bows and the real ribbon at the top.

Colour Crazy kitties

Good morning everyone. I can't believe it's March already, where has this year gone! That means that I'm 50 next month, eeeek so excited!
Anyhow, enough about me and the reason I'm here blogging today. Well, it's time for a new challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge blog. This week we are being sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo, and I got to play with this adorable image which is called Bugkittyblocks and you can find it HERE.
Ooo I've just seen some more fab images that I need to buy from there lol
So I've coloured this image with my Copics for a change. The papers are from a cat scrapbook kit from DCWV that I have been hoarding for years! I have also added some glossy accents on the eyes. Now don't forget to pop over to our team blog for more inspiration from my very talented teamies.
Right I'm off to buy those gorgeous Giraffe images, oh and maybe the unicorn one as well!
I will see you at the end of the month for another colouring challenge.

Ribbon or Lace

Good morning everyone. It's already time for another challenge from us at the Polkadoodles challenge blog. This week the team were challenged to use Ribbon or Lace and here is my make.

I used a circle die to create and circular easel card. I used lots of elements from the Winnie in Wonderland collection on this card. This really is one of my all time favourite collections in case you hadn't noticed! I used the small frame die from the Bubbleicious Frames die set to cut out Sydney the White Rabbit. I fussy cut all the embellies and mounted them onto the card using 3D foam. I added some extra interest with the sprig die and the flowers 2 dies. Finally I used some crushed silk ribbon and a jewelled gem to finish it all off.
