Romantic

Good morning and a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make a romantic themed make and here is what I made.
I have made quite a simple card although it took a while going through everything in the Octavia Moonfly collection deciding what to use! Once I had decided what colour scheme and the items I wanted to use I took them into My Craft Studio and laid it out as I wanted it. I then changed the embellies colours to match the papers colours, added shadows and printed it all out in one go. I then cut around it leaving a small white border and matted it on black card and adhered to a white card blank and there you have it.

Add a Tag

Good morning and Happy
It's time for a new challenge from us at Digi Choosday, for you it is anything goes but this week for the teams challenge we were asked to use a tag on our makes.
I used the Octavia Moonfly collection this week as I hadn't used it in a while and thought it deserved an airing. I used the pre-coloured version of the Dragonfly image. The papers, sentiments, butterfly, word art and flowers are all from the collection. Just how real do those flowers look! I added some liquid pearls to the centres of them and at the bottom of the card. Everything is matted onto Kraft card and mounted onto 3D foam to give the card real dimension. I used a Tattered Lace tag die to cut the sentiment out with and added an organza bow to it.
Here's  few close ups for you. Behind the flowers I used the Polkadoodles Sprig die.
See what I mean about those flowers looking real!
Now please pop over to the team blog and check out the rest of my teamies fab makes. And of course to grab that massive discount code that will last for 24 hours.

I have used a pre-coloured image and sentiment from the Octavia Moonfly download collection to create a CAS card. You can also buy this collection as a CD should you wish to do so. Don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out my teamies makes.

Things with wings

Good morning everyone. I'm here with some mid challenge inspiration for the Polkadoodles challenge blog. The challenge that kicked off last week is Things With Wings and here is my make.
I've recently been away and got quite ill while I was there and unfortunately was still ill when I came home, which forced me to go to A&E this week. So I am on strict orders to take it easy and get plenty of rest, so I haven't been able to do much crafting. However I didn't want to let the team down this week so I did some digital crafting this time. I used the My Craft Studio Elite program to create this digital card which uses an image, papers, embellies and sentiments that are all on the fabulous Octavia Moonfly collection. I added a few shadows to things to try to make it look as "real" as possible. I don't think it's turned out too bad, what do you think?

Papers

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with my DT make for the Polkadoodles blog. We have a new challenge starting today and that challenge is to use two papers. I have used the Oddella with Bag digi, and papers from the Octavia Collection. I have coloured Oddella in with my Graph'It Markers.
Unusually for me I have gone for the CAS (Clean and Simple Style) for my card as I wanted the focus to really be on the images as sometimes I think they can get a bit lost in all the embellies I tend to use.

Anything but a Square card

Good morning and happy choosday everyone. Today over at our blog the new challenge we have set is to make anything but a square card. These past few years square cards seems to be the most popular shape of card so we thought it would be good to push the boundaries for this week, and show you that fabulous creations don't have to be square. Here is my make:
To create the shape of the card I have used the Flower shape art 6 from Dutch Doobadoo. The image I have used for this is from the cute Sugarplum Daisy CD, and the papers are from the Octavia Moonfly download, as are the flowers and the butterfly. The fence and lamp post are laser art from Dutch Doobadoo. I coloured the image in with some cheap pencils that I picked up while I was in Egypt.

Add some lace

Good morning everyone and Happy Choosday! This week our new challenge over at the Digi Choosday blog is to add some lace. This is an easy one for me as I love to use lace, it's so feminine and pretty. So here is my make:

I've used the beautiful Seashore Shannon image from the store and coloured her using my Graph'It Markers, the Mix It fluid and Mix It Palette. The papers, flowers and butterfly are all from the Octavia Moonfly Collection. The die cuts are from Tattered Lace and the lace from my stash.

Mothers Day

Good morning and Happy Choosday. How quick do these Tuesdays keep coming round!! Today's challenge at Digi Choosday is all about the main ladies in our lives, Mothers. So we want to see your Mothers day makes, and here is mine.
I used the stunning Octavia Riding a Unicorn from the Octavia Moonfly Collection download. Also available as a CD or as lots of separate little bundles. I have coloured her with my Graph'It Markers and used my Mix It Palette to keep the colours soft. I took all the embellies into a craft program (MCS) and changed them all to gray scale to match the papers. Everything you see on this card is printed from the collection, even the ribbon, bow and flowers. How real do they look, all I did was use a large embossing tool to shape them a little bit. I just adore this collection, and envisage it being used rather a lot!
