A quick Christmas make

Good morning, I'm here with a make for the Polkadoodles Craft blog today. And I have a little tutorial for you.
I am using the Ho Ho Holly stamp set, Posydoodles Basics circles dies, black ink, some distress inks and a stamping platform.

I started by cutting out a circle in white stamping card and placing it over some scrap paper in my stamping platform. I then used a black ink to stamps the holly stamp around the edges of the circle. I used the scrap paper underneath so as not to get the excess ink on my stamping platform mat. I also stamped a sentiment into the middle of the wreath I created.
I then stamped out the same Holly stamp 5 more times onto more stamping card. I then used a green distress ink and a red one to colour the Holly and the berries in. I then fussy cut them out.
I used a 15x15cm card blank. I inked lightly around the edges of a 14.5cm square piece of card and mounted onto the card base using 3D foam. I then mounted the Holly wreath in the centre of the card, and mounted the Holly I had fussy cut onto 3D foam pads and placed over the top of the wreath. I did this to give the card some dimension and so that you could see the full stamp underneath the 3D layer when looking from the side. I finished the card off with 3 red gems at the bottom.
This creates a simple but elegant Christmas card.
