Good morning everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. It's very, very cold here in Leeds today, in fact there was frost on the ground until just before 12, brrrrrrr. So what better way to spend the day in my craft room with my fire on creating things using some of the fabulous products I am lucky enough to play with.
So last week Nikky Hall of Polkadoodles launched her very own range of dies and I was lucky enough to be given some of these to play, I mean create, with. And it just so happens that I now own the full collection, oooops! So my first make using them I chose to use the Bubbleicious Frames set. I have only used the oval frame and the flowers on this make so they all went through my Baby Blue machine so if you only have a small die cutting machine you can still use most of these dies.
And here is the proof!
And here is the pack shot.
the packaging is so very elegant and the dies are a beautiful off white colour. They cut like a dream and the cuts just fell out of the die!
So here is my first make, a very simple but I think, effective card that could be sent for any reason what so ever.
I wanted to make a card where the dies were the only focus for now but that frame would be great for a background for a digi image. I used some of my distress ink on a piece of white linen card and then cut out the frame and flowers. I stamped a simple message in the frame and I layered up the flowers and added some stamens to them and voila, there you have it.
This is on my need list. I love how versatile it is! Beautiful card Anjie x
