Don't be square

Good morning everyone, I'm on the naughty step today as totally forgot to schedule my post. I really must learn to carry a cushion around with me!
So this morning is the start of a new challenge at the Polkadoodles challenge blog. We have now changed all our challenges to anything goes to make it lots easier for you all to enter. And here is my make.
On this card I've used the Oceania Clear Stamp set. I used the Whale and Whale tail to stamp a background out. I then created some mats and layers and stamped onto watercolour card with a versamark ink pad and used a clear embossing powder. When I heat set the images I then whooshed over them with a blue paint from my Gansai Tambi Watercolours paints. I then raised those up with 3D foam and there you are, all done. A really quick and simple card to make.

Punch or Die!

Good morning and happy
The new challenge we have for you this week is to use punches or dies, or anything goes.
On this card I have used a flower from the Tropical Paradise Flamingo clear stamp set. I have stamped them out 3 times, coloured them with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. I cut some fancy edge circle mats and layers using an essential Tattered Lace die set. I then layered the flowers up using 3D foam pads to give them some dimension. I kept the background CAS again. I simply used a score board to score some lines to give it a bit of texture.

Now don't forget to go grab today's mahoosive discount code to use on digis in out store.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
ODBD - Anything that grows
Retarte - Anything Goes (ATG)
TTCRD - ATG
Bunny Zoe Crafts - Summer florals

Summertime!

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with out latest challenge at the Polkadoodles Blog. And that challenge is Summertime. Well here in the UK for the last two days it really has been summertime, in my garden it reached 45 degrees! As a rule I would love that and be out crafting in the garden, but we are currently making over our garden and working in that heat isn't much fun.
Anyhow, onto my challenge card for this week.
For this card I have used a flower from the new Tropical Paradise Flamingo clear stamp set, and a sentiment from the new Oceania clear stamp set. I've coloured the image with Pickled Raspberry and Pine Needles distress inks. I've then cloured over the whole background with the Pickled Raspberry ink and added the usual squiggly black line with a fine liner.

Flowers

 Good morning and Happy

everyone. Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the new challenge is Flowers, so we want to see lots of florals on your makes. It could be the main image that is a flower, or could just be that you've used flowers as an embellishment. It could even be home decor, whatever you like.

I'm in a CAS mood still so my card today is very simple and I've used the ever so pretty Lemonade Fizz Collection. I printed the heart shaped petals and the leaves out a few times and used some distress inks to colour them. I then used some left over bits of paper from the same collection to make some pendents and mounted them onto a pearlescent card stock. I used one of the little stamps from the Lemonade Fizz stamp set to add a few little highlights on the white background and added some faux stitching and some twine. Finally I arranged things as I wanted them and glued everything in place. And here is my make.

Birthday candy draw

Oh dear, what am I like!!! With everything that's being going on here I totally forgot about doing the draw for my birthday candy. I will go and sit on the naughty step when I'm done here!

So I thought I would video the computer doing the draw so you see it as I did, and here is the winner!
So the winner is Barbara Treadwell. So you need to send me your postal address so I can get your box of goodies out to you hun.

Now seeing as I was late in doing this I thought I would do two more draws for a die each, and these are the dies.

So the first number I drew out for the dies was number 3, so Angie Whalley wins the top die. The second number was number 17, so Andrea Johnson wins the Sleigh die. Please send me your address ladies and I'll get these out asap. Again please accept my apologies for being so terribly late with this draw.

This week I have made a tag from the left over bits of one of the design sheets from the fab Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection. It is from design sheet 1 and here it is. There are so many bits on those design sheets, I still had left over bits after making the card and the tag! All I added extra was the sentiment.

So onto my first make using this collection. I have used the lighthouse image, which I have coloured with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours, and 3 of the background papers. I have added some twine and some buttons from my stash and here you have it.

Ribbon or Twine

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles blog and we kick off this fortnightly challenge today. The new challenge we have for you is "Add some ribbon or twine" and here is my make.

So yet again I've used the fabulous new Winnie In Wonderland collection. I told you I was going to be using it a lot didn't I! lol
This time I've used my Graph'It Markers to colour in Winnie as the Red Queen, Iracebeth. I've used two papers and lots of embellies that I have fussy cut and stuck down with 3D foam to give the card lots of dimension. I finished it off by making a bow using some silky crush ribbom and a glittered heart gem.
