Silly Sally

I've been a bad teamie in the Oddball team as haven't been able to colour for weeks now due to this awful finger trouble from when I trapped it in the wardrobe door. So I have been trying to colour every few days and if it was still hurting I didn't want to push it and make it worse. My colouring keeps me sane so it's been really hard for me not to be able to do it. Anyhow, I tried the other night and the pain is very nearly gone when I hold a pen so I thought I would sit and try an image and voila, I actually managed it and here is my result. So of course the image is from Oddball Art and is called Silly Sally Smiles, isn't she super cute! The papers are from a really old Papermania stack I had and saved a few of those sheets that are too nice to use. I'm sure we all have them, well I'm trying to be sensible (yeah, right) and get them used up and let someone else enjoy them when I give the card
I used Copics to colour her and the colours were:
Skin: E33, E11, E21, E00, E50 and R20 for the cheeks.
Blues: B29, B24, B12
Shadows are just 2 grey ones

So why not pop over to our Facebook group and join in with this months challenge. You can find us HERE. And all entrants for this challenge are in this folder HERE. And all the Design Team makes are HERE. So that's it for me today, but I will be back very soon with more!

Baked With Love

Good morning and a very happy
This week over at the Digi Choosday blog the team are still getting ready for Christmas. Why not come and join in with our challenge to prepare yourself. If you don't want to do anything along the Christmas theme, you can do anything you want as the theme for you is always anything goes.
So here is my make for this week.
To make this I've used the ever so cute Baked With Love download collection. You can also buy this on CD if you wish.
This is a white card blank with 4 of collections papers cut into small square and glued in place on a layer of white card slightly smaller than the card blank. I've then added some faux stitching around the papers so it looks like patchwork. I've then mounted that layer onto 3D foam and stuck it to the card blank to give it dimension. I've then cut a tag in white card using a Stamps By Me tag die set. I've then cut the 2nd layer of the tag 4 times in the different papers and again made them look like patchwork. I then fussy cut some embellies and the baking Gingerbread Lady and mounted them all on 3D foam and glued in place. And there you have it.
Here is a close up for you.

Tag!

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with a new challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. We are still in Christmas mode getting all our makes ready ahead so we don't have to rush at the last minute. Why not join us and get ahead. Or if you don't want to make anything Christmas related you can make anything you want as our challenge for you is always anything goes.
So here is my make.
To make this I've used the fabulous Baked With Love Collection, again! You can also get this in download format should you want it right now. I've cut out the die shape in white card using the Stamps By Me Loving Wishes die set. And then cut out the inner tag four times with different papers and cut them into smaller squares to give a patchwork look, my regular followers will know how much I love doing this. Yes it takes a long time to do but I think it's worth it for the effect you get at the end. I've used a distress ink around the edges and them glued them in place and added faux stitching. I've then fussy cut the Ginger and all the embellies and mounted them in place on 3D foam to make them pop.
Here's a close up for you.

More Christmas

Good morning and a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged once again to make something with a Christmas theme. For you as always the theme is anything goes.
So here is my make for this week.
I've used the Winnie Winterland collection for this card. I've used one of the backing papers, a sentiment and 3 flowers layered up. It's very simple but effective I think. I've distressed the edges of the paper and card and put them onto 3D foam to make them stand out. I've added some die cuts from the Flower Flourish Die behind the flowers in green glitter card.
Now as always don't forget to go grab today's discount code and see what the rest of the team have made.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Christmas in July

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with another Christmas make, I'm really getting in front with these, I hope you are too! This time it's for the new challenge over at the Polkadoodles blog.

I've used Winnie Winterland Collection to make this tag. The tag shape is just one that I cut myself, so no die needed to do this. I then cut the paper to small squares and trimmed the top 2 to match the edge. They were then inked and faux stitching added before gluing onto the base tag. I then used a flower from the collection printed in 3 different sizes and layered up with some stamens added. Behind the flower I used some die cuts using the same papers and the foliage die from the Polkadoodles Bird house die set.
Here is a close up of the tag for you.

Now pop over to the blog to get some more Christmas Inspiration from my teamies.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Cardz 4 Galz - Christmas
C.R.A.F.T - Christmas
Crafting With An Attitude - ATG
Star Stampz - Christmas

Tulips

Good morning everyone. It's time for my turn to share a make with you for the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. This week we are being sponsored by Pickled Potpouri and I got to play with the lovely Tulip digi. This image is so very versatile as you can use whatever colour you like. I've chosen a lovely rich red, what do you think?

I've used my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush pens, which I am just loving using lately.
I've used the following colours:
020 Red
041 Light Green
and for the outline to give it some shadow:
303 Shadow Mauve
092 Blue Gray
So not much used but I think, a very elegant finish.
Now pop over to our blog to check out what else the team have been making with more images from Pickled Potpouri.

Thabk you

Good morning and a very happy
to you all. Over at the Digi Choosday blog today the team were challenged to make a Thank You card. For you the challenge remains as always, Anything Goes.
Here is my make for this week.

I have used one of my fave collections for this make, it's an old one but still remains at the top of my list, and it's one I turn to many a time. It's from the Picknix 1 collection, and from the mini Home Grown collection within it.
I've used 3 of the papers and cut them down into squares. I've then distressed and inked the edges before gluing them in place. Then I added some faux stitching with a white pen, and layered up the 3 layers. I then used the Flowers 2 and the Super Sprigs Polkadoodles dies to create the flowers and foliage. I then used a Stampin Up die for the sentiment. I cut it out 4 times and glued them on top of each other to give it some dimension like a chipboard sentiment. I then cut it out in Kraft card and added it at the back slightly off to give it a drop shadow.

Now don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out my teamies makes and to grab today's massive discount code.
