latest cards

I haven't had much time to come online lately, with emptying my Great Uncles house and visiting my Aunt in hospital who has just had surgery to remove a tumor from her gullet, it has been non stop for me. I have managed to make a few cards in the evenings and here they are:
These are for my mums birthday. The one above is using an image and papers from MCS The Artist Collection CD 1 Smudge. The image is coloured with Copics and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
This one also uses the MCS Artist Collection but CD 2 Cromford Bear. I've decoupaged the image inside and added a message a few embellishments from my stash.

Baubles

A Friend of mine was showing me some blank baubles she was buying to make up so I asked her to get me some so I could have a go. Here are a few of what I came up withI've had great fun working with them, and I think they look really good. I've also made boxes for them so I can give them as gifts.I've used various images inside the baubles, the snowflakes are cut from acetate on my robo and then glittered. All the boxes are made using paper from MCS Christmas discs.

Back from holiday

Well I'm back from my holiday and I really must get back into being a regular blogger. Things have been a bit mad for me over the last few months and I've had other things on my mind but hopefully all will be back to normal in a few weeks time.

Anyway here is my first card after my hol.
The image and papers are from the My Craft Studio, The Artist Collection Volume one Smudge CD. Isn't he adorable! I've coloured him with my Copics and added some ribbon, flowers, gems and a hat pin from my stash.

And another one

Yet again another card from the fabulous Tinkering With Steampunk CD, I really am loving this CD! This time I've done one of the fabby frame cards. I've embossed some of the embellishments from the CD to add a bit extra to the card.
I know this picture is a bit blurred but I wanted to show that I had wrapped some cotton around the bobbin embellishment.

Todays card

Again I have been playing with the fabulous Tinkering With Steampunk CD and this is todays card

I've done this card a bit girly using ribbon, a feather and a hat pin, just to show that Steampunk doesn't have to be all about distressing. Again the wheels/cogs were cut out on my Robo and heat embossed.

This card is winging it's way to someone that liked it today.

Another Steampunk

Here is another Steampunk card I have done, again using the MCS Tinkering With Steampunk CD
The distressing is done with a Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distress ink pad. I have heat embossed the topper and embellishments and the cracked them and inked up again.

Steampunk

This is my first go at a Steampunk style card.

It's using the new My Craft Studio Tinkering with Steampunk CD

I've taken some of the jpeg images of weels from the CD and cut them out on my Craft Robo and then heat embossed them to make them look old and rusty

I've been playing with a free download of Cromford Bear from the Platinum members My Craft Studio club and I've fallen in love with him! Can't wait for my CD full of him to arrive, I can see him being used soooo much. They are all coloured in with my Copics and the papers are all from various MCS CD's

Some hand coloured cards

These ones are 15cm square
