Card for 3 challenges

I didn't do any challenges last week with me supposedly going on holiday, but as you all know the skies were empty so here I am stuck until this Friday. And for this reason I have been able to do a card. I have done the card for 3 challenges, the first one being at Oh Alice! The challenge this week is to follow the sketch below
The second challenge is Dotties World this week it is set by Louise and here is what she says: "This week I'd like you to fill your pockets! :) In other words include a pocket in your creation, I don't mind what you put in it as long as the pocket is there....if you are sending it to me £10 notes work well :D.
Don't forget Dottie's World challenges MUST include a Charmed download!"

And the 3rd and final challenge is Passion for ProMarkers this week is set by Maria and the theme she has set is:

“in the garden”

i.e. things you may see in the garden - flowers, vegetables or even a garden shed, it’s entirely up to you, as long as you colour your image with promarkers you will be in with a chance of winning our prize.
Their sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

And here is my creation

The image is from the Pixie Chicks collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts and is of course coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are My Minds Eye.

Bags for a change

It's not often I do any sewing these days since the girls stopped wanting fancy dress outfits, but this weekend my shoulder was really really bad so I thought I'd get my machine out.
I'd seen some Mad Hatter (the wonderful Mr Depp) tote bags in the city centre but they were way out of my price bracket, a few of them were £49.99!!!! Yes I know. Anyway, I had some material left over from a Matrix coat I made Dave a few years back, and some printable canvas, so thought I'd have a go at making a tote. I made one and used it on Saturday when I was out shopping and got quite a few comments about it, so off the the fabric shop I toddled and bought some denim and some canvas and decided to make some more to see if they would sell and here are the ones I've done so far.

The denim ones have a light blue lining, and the canvas ones have a red and white checked lining. Please remember these are handmade by little old me in pain so the stitching isn't perfectly straight. The are very strong though, as I have triple stitched them all.

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Adele and here is what she says:
With spring (hopefully) in the air I want you to think:

Paper Roses...............

or daffs, or tulips....you get the picture? BUT I don't want to see any pre-made flowers please - only die cuts, punched flowers or any flower/s you have made from scratch on your creations this week please. The only other limitation is that a Charmed Download MUST be used....but that is no limitation at all is it, there is so much to choose from! LOL

And here is the card I have done:
The image is from the Holly and Madison collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts it is coloured with ProMarkers. The paper are from My Minds Eye. I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the borders. And the flowers is handmade by cutting 3 different sized petal shapes, inking the edges, scrunching them up and then opening them up and attaching them to a brad. Then close the centre petals over the brad hiding it.
