Green

Good morning and a happy
This week as we are close to St Patricks day the team were challenged to make something Green, and here is my make.
I used one of the pre-coloured monsters from the Little Monsters download kit, and one of the messages from the bigger kit. I created a background using Brushos, amd added some squiggly lines around the edges and inked the edge of the card. I then printed out the monster and message and fussy cut them. I inked the edges of the monster black so no white showed, and then inked the edges of the speech bubble green. I mounted everything onto 3D foam and stuck in place.

Now don't forget to pop over to the blog to grab today's massive discount code and of course check out that the rest of the team have done.

Green!

Good morning everyone. It's time for another new challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. With it being close to St Patricks day, the team were challenged to make something with lots of green in it.
And here is my make.
I've used one of the monsters from the Little Monsters Funky Stamp set, and a sentiment from the Monster Messages stamp set. You could do what I did and buy the whole collection to save a few pennies. And I'm sure it's cheaper now than when I bought it so it is a monster bargain!
I took a few photos while making this to show you how I did it, so here you are.

I stamped the Monster and message in black onto watercolour card and used a water pen just inside the monster. I then added some Brushos and allowed it to dry.
I then stamped the monster on a post it note to use as as mask. I then sprayed the card with water and added more brushes in a different green.
I then sprayed a bit more water to mix the colours more. I then used a heat gun to dry it off and added some lines around the edges, and also inked the edge of the card to make it stand out more. Finally I added 3D foam to the back and stuck it to the card blank.

For a Lady

Good morning a very happy
I know, these weeks are flying by aren't they!
This week the team at the Digi Choosday blog were challenged to make something for a lady, and here is my make.
I used the Winnie Celebrations 2 collection to make this. I used a pre-coloured image, 2 papers and a sentiment. I matted the papers and image onto coordinating card and mounted onto 3D foam to give it dimension. I added some pearls around the sentiment and at the bottom of the card, and finally added a bow. This image could be used for lots of occasions, not just birthdays.
And as always we have a massive discount code for you so don't forget to grab it from our blog.

Spring colours

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles blog. This week the team were challenged to make something with Spring Colours and here is my make for this week.

I have used the Winnie Fruit Punch collection. When I use this collection I usually go for the ever so cute fat Bee so thought I'd do something different instead. So I used one of the design sheets which you can buy on it's own HERE. There is loads left over for another make too.
I fussy cut everything out by hand and added some sparkle to the butterflies and bird using a Wink of Stella pen. I edged the papers with black ink for some faux matting and layering. I then mounted to topper, the embellies and the sentiments onto 3D foam to give some dimension to the card. Lovely spring colours I think, and makes me feel like summer is finally on the way.
Why not come and join our challenge for the chance to win some fab goodies! And of course check out what the rest of the team have made over at the blog.

Lots of Love

Good morning a very happy
Today at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make something with lots of love. The challenge for you as always is anything goes. I chose to use the new Winnie Celebrations 2 collection. I used a pre-coloured image as I'm still struggling with nerve issues. I then used one of the banners and added my own sentiment to it. I did this in My Craft Studio but you can do it in Word if you don't have a graphics program. I also used one of the papers, with love hearts, from the collection and matted it onto coordinating card stock and layered up with 3D foam pads. Finally I stamped to heart from the Regal Peacock stamp set 5 times, coloured it red with inks and made it into a flower and added stamens.
Now don't forget as it's Digi Choosday we give you a massive discount code to use on digis in the Polkadoodles store, but it's only valid for 24 hours so grab it while it's there!

Spring Flowers

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with a new challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. This week the team were challenged to make something with spring flowers on, the challenge for you as always is anything goes.
I knew straight away I wanted to use some of the fabulous Polkadoodles flower dies, so I chose to use the flowers 2 dies set, and here is my make.

I also used the small frame from the Bubbleicious Frames die set.
So actually this isn't what I started out making, I started by cutting some of the flowers and usimg my pink and purple inks on them, but I wasn't happy with the results as I didn't think they were spring like so I started again. This time I decided to use my Brusho powders and was happy with the colours. So actually a quick card took me over an hour to make, but hey ho I love it, and I had great fun making it, and that is what crafting is all about isn't it!
Here's a close up of the flowers for you.
Why not come and join in the challenge and be in with a chance to win some fab prizes. See you over at the blog.

Romantic

Good morning and a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make a romantic themed make and here is what I made.
I have made quite a simple card although it took a while going through everything in the Octavia Moonfly collection deciding what to use! Once I had decided what colour scheme and the items I wanted to use I took them into My Craft Studio and laid it out as I wanted it. I then changed the embellies colours to match the papers colours, added shadows and printed it all out in one go. I then cut around it leaving a small white border and matted it on black card and adhered to a white card blank and there you have it.

Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make a shaped card and here is my make.
I've used my favourite Winnie In Wonderland collection to make my hubby his birthday card, and as you can see I've made a circular card with circular mats and layers, and lots of circular embellies on it.
