Use a die

Good morning and happy
We have a new challenge over at the Digi Choosday blog. As always for you it is anything goes, but the design team have the challenge of  "use a die" so here is my make. Beware there are lots and lots of photos, so you may need a cuppa before you look at them all.
This started out as a plain MDF kit I got at Crafting Live last year.

I just love this so much. I really didn't want to put it away after Christmas.
I used some papers from the Octavia Frosted Winter Collection. I added some modelling paste and gesso around the edges and in random places to look a little bit like snow. I then used a bronze gilding wax around the edges. So I got really, really messy making this, which I just love! I cut all the die cuts out with Centura Pearl card. I bought some really cheap Christmas decorations from poundstretcher and pulled them all apart to add bits here and there. I also added some polystyrene snowballs. I even made the candle ring in the centre of the sleigh. I glittered up some pine cones, used some hessian/burlap type ribbon and some die cuts, and attached them all to a wired fern sprig.  On the arrangement I made for the side of the sleigh I also used some of that silver fine tinsel that you hang from Christmas trees. The dies I used are all from Polkadoodles and they are: Super Sprigs, the flower from the Bubbleicious Frames set, and the foliage die from the Birdhouse Doublet die set. Check out all the rest of the dies from Polkadoodles HERE.

Use a design sheet

Good morning and happy
We have a new challenge over at the Digi Choosday blog. As always for you it is anything goes, but the design team have the challenge of using a design sheet. So I have used design sheet number 5 from the Winnie In Wonderland collection. You can buy the whole collection HERE.
Everything on the card is from the design sheet and I still had a few bits left over which I will use to make a tag with.

Romance

Good morning and happy
We have a new challenge over at the Digi Choosday blog. As always for you it is anything goes, but the design team have the challenge of "romance"
When I heard this challenge I immediately thought of using the Lily Love Bug collection, and a wooden heart I got in the sales last year. So here is my make.
I printed the image and the embellies on glossy photo paper to make then more durable and to make them pop more. I printed the papers onto Ultimate Graphic paper. I also use the fab new toadstool border die from Polkadoodles. I added some red distress ink and a black faux stitching line around the edges.

Tag it

Hello, yes it is I once again. This time I want to show you some tags I made using the new Helga Collection. My regular followers will know I love to make tags, and people I give them to love receiving them as well, which is a massive honour. For these I cut the tag shape out of Kraft card and used a purple ink around the edges. I then cut some paper from the collection into squares and inked the edges before gluing them onto the tags. I then added some faux stitching with a black marker. I then added the sentiments, some foliage and a flower. I finished them off with some matching ribbon.

Sweet Helga

I'm back again, hopefully on time this time.
I've kept this card really simple so you can see the beautiful Helga without too much going on around her. I've used an embossed background and I've coloured Helga with my Copics, in nice soft colours. Then I've just added some foliage and some flowers to the corner. So you can find all things Helga HERE.

Helga is back

Good afternoon everyone. I'm very, very late to the party today, so I am writing this post from the draughty naughty step.
So I'm sharing with you my 3rd make from the stunning new Helga Collection, which everyone is just loving, well how can you not when you look at her cute face!
On this make I've used a pre-coloured image, 2 papers and some of the fab embellies that I fussy cut. I've done some matting and layering and there you have it.

Another Helga

Good afternoon everyone. What did you think of the new release, Helga, yesterday? I think she is just adorable! So of course I have quite a few makes to share with you and here is my next one.
Ok, it's actually two makes lol
I used design sheet number 08 to make this card and then the tag with the left over bits.
I sat and fussy cut all the elements out, and left a little white border around the flowers to make them stand out from the background.
As you can see I haven't actually used Helga herself on these, so as gorgeous as she is, it's not all about Helga. If you love pinks, lilacs and flowers you will love this collection too.

Use a Die

Good morning everyone. Today I'm here with my challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge for you is Anything goes but the team were challenge to use a die on our makes for this challenge.

For this card I have used the paper pad from the Bella Papillon crafting kit. You can also buy the paper on it's own HERE. I have then stamped the flower from the Bella Fleur craft kit. You can also buy the stamp set on it's own HERE. I have then cut out a frame using the Elegant Nest set of 3 dies. I used the same die to cut out the flower and trimmed it down to size. I then added a bow and some flourish die cuts behind it.
