The challenge we have set this week is In Bloom, I think we are all looking forward to the end of Winter and the start of Spring when all those lovely flowers start appearing. Here is my make for this week.
I've used the beautiful Serenity collection for the image, sentiment and papers. You can also buy the image on her own HERE. Isn't she just adorable! The flowers and leaves are from the Picknix 3 Nordic Winter collection and I have changed the colour of them to match this card. That's one of the things I love about digital crafting, you can always change colours and sizes of things to suit you. The image is coloured with Graph'It Markers.

Mini Shutter 4

Good morning again. As promised I'm here to share my last Tattered Lace design team make with you using the fab new Mini Shutter Die.

To make this one I cut out the card blank from Kraft card and the first layer of mats from some Gorjuss paper using the fabulous dies. I used some diestress ink around the edges of the card and paper. I added one of the embellies from the die set to the centre panel. I then added some Gorjuss decoupage and message panel and heart. Finally I made a bow using the Bow Maker and some Gorjuss ribbon.

Mini Shutter 3

Good morning again. As promised I'm here to share another Tattered Lace design team make with you using the fab new Mini Shutter Die.

To make this one I cut out the card blank and the first layer of mats using the fabulous dies. Before I glued them down I cut out the Thank You sentiment using a TL die that was on one of the magazines. I then cut out some of the little embellishments that come with the die set. Finally I added some decoupage from a My Paper Stash kit.
Come back tomorrow to see another card using these dies.

Mini Shutter again

Good morning again. As promised I'm here to share another Tattered Lace design team make with you using the fab new Mini Shutter Die.
To make this one I cut out the card blank and the first layer of mats using the fabulous dies. Then I stamped on a sheet of linen card using some Dreamees stamps, and then coloured then in using my Prisma pencils. I then used the second set of layering dies from the set and cut out from the sheet of stamped and coloured images. Finally I stamped some more flowers and cut and shaped them before mounting them on the card.
Come back tomorrow to see another card using these dies.

Tattered Lace mini shutter

Good morning all from a foggy and very frosty Leeds, brrrrrr! I thought it was about time I started blogging my Tattered Lace design team makes rather than just sharing them on Facebook. The fabulous new mini shutter dies were launched as part of the Pick Of The Day on Ideal World and Create And Craft last night. This is one my makes.
These concept dies really are worth their weight in gold, not only because they take all the faff out of the card, but the matting and layering is a breeze! Have you ever made one of these and then tried to add layers? I have and it was a total nightmare. This is soooo easy it's untrue. I have decorated this card with the What's Up Buttercup stamps from Polkadoodles. I have added a bit of colour with my Prisma pencils and added some distress ink around the edges.
Come back tomorrow and I'll share my next one.

Good morning and Happy Choosday again. This week the challenge over at the Digi Choosday Blog the challenge we have set is to add some stitching whether it be real or faux stitching. And here is my make.

Winter Birthday

Good morning bloggers. I'm here today with a new challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge we have been set is to make something for a winter birthday and here is my make.
I've changed the colours of some of the papers and embellishments from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection in the My Craft Studio program to dark winter colours. I then coloured the fab Oddella Bow image in with my Graph'It Markers to match the papers and embellies. I used the same markers to colour a white piece of card to use as a mat behind the image. I raised the embellies onto 3D foam. Just look how real the bow looks and it's card! Then I cut a sentiment and again coloured it to match. Finally I added some glitter to the foliage die and flower embellie to make it look like frost.

Cool Blues

Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone. These Tuesdays are coming around faster and faster, I just blinked and a week has gone by. Is it cold where you are? It is really cold up here in the North of England. This weeks challenge we have over at the Digi Choosday blog is perfect for this weather, it's Cool Blues, and here is my make:

This was a wooden heart I bought from Matalan in the sale for 50p, I think I'm going to pop out now and see if they have anymore as it is quite a substantial amount of wood. I started the project by prinint some papers from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection and distressed them with ink before gluing them in place. I then added some faux stitching with a brown pen to keep in with the colour theme. I then coloured in the fab Oddella Heart image with my Graph'It Markers.
I then added some gloss over the red dots and distressed and inked the edges before adding some more faux stitching. I finished the piece off by added some die cuts and some flowers.

Now don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out this weeks discount code and my teamies creations.
