Graph'It Markers colouring challenge.

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with the last make of this year for the Graph'It Markers colouring challenge blog. This challenge is being sponsored by the lovely Digital Delights and the image I am using is the super cute Elf Surprise, so here is my make.
The colours I have used are:
Elf skin: 4105, 4125, 4150, 3120
Bears: 1230, 1250, 1270 and Mix It fluid on my jumper and pressed on the bears.
Bunny and Mouse: 9500, 9501, 9502, 9503
Reds: 5210, 5215, 5220
Greens: 8130, 8150, 8160
Box: 1210, 1230

And this is the colour chart I had to follow this week.
I think I managed to stick to it this week apart from the greys for the mouse and bunny.

Christmas decor

.
Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone.
Yes it's
already! So get over to the blog and grab your code and use it before midnight tonight!

This week our new challenge is to make some Christmas Home Decor.
Every year I make lots of things for the house for Christmas so this is one of my fave challenges, and here is what I have made.
This was a plain MDF  snowflake that I got at one of the craft shows this year. I have covered it with a paper from the Angelberry Christmas collection, and added some sparkle using my Graph'It Shake silver pen. Then I printed out the same paper, a sentiment and a coordinating paper onto Centura Pearl card. I used a Tattered Lace die to cut a snowflake out around the sentiment. And then used some TL dies to cut out some Poinsettia flowers and some Holly leaves. I glued them all in place and added some pearls into the centre of the flowers. This will look fab with the rest of my decorations.
Here is a close up to show you the sparkle you get from the Centura Pearl card.

Traditional Christmas (again)

Good morning everyone. I'm here to tell you about the new challenge over at Polkadoodles that starts today. The challenge for this fortnight is Traditional Christmas, and here is my make.
I've used papers and embellishments from the amazing Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection as i did on Tuesday for our Digi Choosday challenge. I just adore these Picknix collections. Again I've printed this onto 300gsm cream card and then used my scanNcut to cut all the embellishments out. The base card is an 8x8 cream card. I've decoupaged the Santa image to make it stand out even more. I love how different it looks printed on cream card rather than white card. It all adds to the oldie world vintage look. I've added a black pen line around the papers and image as well to frame them.
This shows you the 3D santa and raised up embellies.
I also used the paper left over to decorate the inside of the card.

Traditional Christmas

Good morning and Happy Choosday again everyone. Well Winter is well and truly here now isn't it. We've had a few flurries of snow up here in Yorkshire, but nothing major as yet, (I'm writing this on Sunday) and hopefully it will stay that way.
So of course because it's Tuesday that means it's
So get yourself over to the blog and grab your code before it expires!

So onto the challenge. This week we have the theme of Traditional Christmas. We are all now in full flow trying to get our Christmas makes done as the big day will be here in no time at all, after all it is the 1st December today, eeeek! I've decided to make some tags this week, and I've used the amazing Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection. Now anyone that has followed my crafting or blog for a while will know how much I love these Picknix collections and this is why I couldn't just stop at one tag, I made 6! And I have the bits to make a few more this afternoon! So here they are.
And here is a close up of them.

These are so easy to make I just cut out the tag shape from Kraft card, cut strips of paper and distressed them all. Then when glued in place I added some faux stitching, some with a white pen and some with a black pen. Then I printed out a sheet of the embellishments onto some cream card. Now because all the embellies in this collection have a black outline, rather than fussy cut I scanned the sheet into my ScanNcut and had that cut them out for me. It didn't miss a single thing because of that black outline, so saved me the best part of any hour! More crafting time! Finally I finished them off with some string I got from the Christmas section of Ikea last year.
