Happy Birthday

Hello blogland, todays post is some mid challenge inspiration for the Premium Crafts Brands Challenge blog. The challenge which started last week is "Happy Birthday" and here is my make.
To create this card I used 2 of the roses from the Roses A5 stamp set and stamped them to create the corner. I stamped some of them a few times and decoupaged them up. I then used the frame and sentiment stamp and the roses in bud stamp to create the message section. For the background I used the A4 Butterfly mask and embossed it onto white card.

CASE it

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with some mid challenge inspiration for the Polkadoodles challenge blog. The challenge that started last week is for us to CASE a teamies make from last year. What does that mean I hear you ask, well what it means is we are to find a make by a fellow team member from last year that we love and to take inspiration from it and  make our own version. So I have chosen to CASE a card from the week 47 challenge HERE which was CAS. Now I love all the cards of course but 2 in particular stood out for me, I couldn't get it down to one as they are both very similar and both fab.
The cards are by our lovely ladies Bev

and Yvonne

And her is my take on it.
I have used the fabby Phone/Texter guy image. He is also available on the Work & Play collection 7 which is available as a download or a CD. He of course is coloured with my Graph'It Markers.

Romantice whites

Good morning everyone, hope you are having a great start to your weekend. I'm here this morning with the years 1st post for We Do Doobadoo. The theme we have set for this week is "Romantic Whites" Here is my make
I have used the Flower Swirl mask  as an embossing folder and simply matted onto a white mat and then a white card. I cut out a flower from an extra piece I embossed and added it with a white brad and used two laser art leaves. I added some ribbon, a bow to finish it off. Simple but elegant I think.

Clean and Simple

Good morning everyone, I hope you're having a great weekend and have all recovered from the busyness of the Christmas and New Year festivities! I'm here today with my DT make for the Premium Craft Brands blog. The challenge this week is Clean and Simple and here is my make
To create this I have used the Heart Of Flower mask as a stencil and run it through my eBosser to emboss it and then used my Permanent Red Pan Pastel to highlight the raised part of the embossing. I have then simply matted onto red card and then added a few gems to the bottom.

Shiny and New

Hello again! This time I'm here with a post with my DT make for the Graph'It Marker challenge blog. The challenge which kicks us off this year is "Shiny and New"
I suppose that can be interpreted in a few ways but I saw it as a chance to use some shiny new stash that I got recently! And here is my make:

The Graph'It Markers I have used are:
Hair: 6180, 6185, 6190
Coat: 6110, 6120
Clock: 7101, 7105, 1210, 3230
Trousers/Shoes: 7109, 7110, 7115

Tic Tac Toe

Good morning everyone and a Happy New Year!

I haven't been around for a while even though I scheduled some posts at the end of last year as I went on a big adventure for four weeks. We went to Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, how lucky am I? I had an absolute blast. But I really missed crafting. Then we had a some not so nice events in the family, one being us losing one of our 18 1/2 year old fur babies. She got ill while we were away and we tried everything to save her but it was too much for her at her age bless her, so on Christmas eve sadly we had to say our goodbyes to our beautiful little girl Belle. She will now be reunited with her best mate Smokey at the Rainbow Bridge. Sweet dreams my little angel.

Now I have been so glad to get back in my craft room to take my mind off of things and my first make of the year is for the Polkadoodles challenge, and it is Tic Tac Toe. What is that I hear you ask. Well you choose a line from this little Tic Tac Toe board and make your creation based on that.
So I have chosen the left hand vertical line so my make had to include, a die cut, stitching and polka dots and here is my make.

I have used the Octavia Bird in Hand digi from the store, and she is coloured with my Graph'It markers. The papers I have used are from the fabulous Dollie Daydream Girl Talk collection which is available as a CD or a digital download! The die cut sentiment is from Tattered Lace and the stamped and die cut flowers are from Sizzix. As you can see I chose to use faux stitching on this make.
Come and join us at the blog and play along to be in with a chance of winning a fab prize!
