I started by going around the outside with a black marker and then adding a piece of pink card. I then printed out some papers from the Pretty Sweet CD and used the pink one on the mount and the blue one to cut a border and place on the mount. I then coloured in the sweet Amelia Braids image using my Graph'It Markers. I cut out a fence from a Marriane die to sit Amelia on, and the bird house and bird. I then cut out the flowers from the left over papers and layered them up with some leaves and swirls which are all from Tattered Lace.

Recycle it!
It's nearly the weekend and I hope you have a great one. Todays post is for the Polkadoodles challenge blog, and this week we set the new challenge of Recycle it. I've done a few of those word picture for people lately and I take the mount out as I don't use it. So I have a few of these mounts and so thought I would use one of those.

Lace
Happy Choosday everyone. This week over at the Digi Choosday blog the challenge is to use lace, and here is my make.
As soon as I saw lace was the challenge I knew I wanted to use an image from the Rose Budd download Collection. The collection is also available as a CD should you wish to buy it that way. Miss Harriet is also available to buy as a clear stamp. The papers are also from the same collection. I have coloured the image with my Graph'It Makers. I have added the lace over the top of some vintage ribbon. This lace is just adorable as it has some small beads running along the middle of it. You can buy it from HERE. I have then added some Tattered Lace die cuts and some flowers from my stash.

Next I stamped the girl and wings from the Art Girl stamp set onto white card and coloured them in using the the Violet, Orange, Neutral Grey Extra Dark, Paynes Grey Extra Dark and Black Pan Pastels. I then added the dots using the White Shake pen, and cut the images out. Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Leave A Little Sparkle stamp set.

Christmas fun
Good morning everyone. I'm here today with some mid challenge inspiration for Polkadoodles. The challenge which started last week is "Christmas Fun" and here is my make.
I was challenged to make a Christmas card without using anything from any of the Christmas collections. At first I thought how the heck am I going to do that? Then I thought of this paper from the Pretty Sweet Collection, and thought if I glittered it it would look Christmasy and I think it does. (You can't really tell on the photo). The image is also from the Pretty Sweet Collection or is availalbe as an instant download here and is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. I made rolled roses from the same papers, and added some Tattered Lace Christmas dies.

Happy Birthday to us!
Good morning everyone and Happy Choosday! We are celebrating today as we are one year old! Can you believe it, where has this past year gone? So with that in mind we chose Birthday as this weeks challenge, and here is my make.
The image is the adorable new Octavia Best Friends, isn't she just adorable. She is flying out of the store. If you are wanting to practice your colouring I think this image is perfect for it with all that hair and the folds in the dress, so go on and grab it and get colouring.
The papers are from the Rose Budd download, which is also available as a CD if you prefer. I went around the edges of the papers and the image with the pearl blue Pan Pastel, you can't really see it on the photo but it gives it a great glittery effect. All the die cuts are from Tattered Lace. The scrabble letters are from Docrafts and you can buy them here.

Colouring backgrounds
Good morning everyone, it's nearly the weekend and I hope you all have a fabulous one!
I'm here today with a new challenge from the Graph'It Markers Colouring Blog. The new challenge is to colour landscapes or backgrounds.
When I saw this challenge I must admit I panicked a little bit, well quite a lot actually! While I'm ok at colouring images, creating backgrounds I can't do! Anyway I had a go and this is what I came up with.
The image is a Tatty Twinkle stamp and the papers are from the Work & Play Collection CD 2. The die cuts are from Tattered Lace.
To create the background, after colouring the sky I used the blender to take out some of the colour in the shape of clouds.
The colours I used are:
Skin: 4125, 4150, 4135, 4145, 3120, 3210
Hair: 3210, 3245, 3250, 3255
Clothes: 8130, 8140, 8150, 8160
Sky: 7105
Grass: 8110, 8120, 8130, 8240, 8270

Something spooky going on!
Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone.
It's getting close to that spooky time of year, Halloween so over at Digi Choosday we thought we'd get your spooky juices flowing by showing you some Halloween makes. Here is my project for this week.
Instead of a card this week I thought I'd do some home decor so have made a canvas to hang on the wall. The image is cute little Amelia Witch and is coloured in with my Graph'It Markers. The rest of the elements on the canvas are from the Witchie Witchie download bundle. I printed the background paper onto a sheet of printable canvas I got from our local pound shop and attached it to a cheap canvas I got from the same shop. I put some spider web under the matted layer of coordinating paper. I then printed out all the embellies onto card, cut around them all and used a 3D glue to put them onto the canvas so they have a 3D effect. I think this will look great on my wall during the Halloween period. Now pop over to our blog for more inspiration from the rest of our talented team.

Christmas
Good morning and happy choosday everyone.
We are having a DT call so pop over to the blog for all the details! As long as you can produce one make a week and have a blog and use social media to share your makes you will be considered! So no thinking you are not good enough or haven't been crafting for long enough because all levels of crafting will be considered!
Where has this year gone, I can't believe it's October already! Before we know it Christmas will be knocking at the door, and with that in mind the challenge we set over at Digi Choosday this week is Christmas. We thought we would give you some ideas or inspiration to get you going! Here is my make:
The cute image and papers are from the Work & Play 5 Festive Hollybobs download. This is also available as a CD if you prefer and that can be found here. The image is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. The little boxes have been cut on my Cameo and covered in the papers from the card. The die cuts are from Tattered Lace. I think this will be little Nico's card this year!

Autumn is here
The leaves are starting to fall, the weather is turning so Autumn is well and truly on it's way here in the UK, and with that in mind our challenge over at the Premium Craft Brands Blog is to use Autumnal colours. Here is my project for this week.
The cute image is from Polkadoodles and is called Seashore Shannon. Her hair and skin are coloured with Graph'It Makers and I've been really brave and used Pan Pastels to colour her dress! This is the first time I have coloured with them and I have to say I am pleased with the results. I just need to go buy some that I will be able to use for skin tones now! The colour I used for the dress is Orange Extra Dark. To create the background I have used the leaves stencil and mixed some iridescent paste with the orange Pan Pastel and put through the stencil. I then used the pearlescent orange Pan Pastel over the top of all. Then I used the pearlescent PP red around the edges and finally the magenta extra dark PP right at the edges. I then stamped the butterfly and sentiment from the Postcard stamp set and used the same colour PP's to colour them. I have finished the card off with some satin ribbon from my stash.
Here are the products I used.

Anything but a square card and Christmas!
Good morning everyone, I'm here with a post for 2 blogs today, but only one make to cover both. I very rarely do this but needs must this week I'm afraid. Our poor little Nico was taken in hospital last Saturday night very ill and was placed in quarantine. The poor little mite had days of blood tests and scans to endure to try to find out what was wrong with him. Alas no definite reason was given other than an infection which caused problems with his white blood cells and Lymph nodes. So we have all had a few sleepless nights and no concentration whatsoever! I have tried crafting but everything ended up in the bin, hence to one make for 2 blogs. Thankfully he was allowed home last night and seems to be picking up, his neck is still really swollen though bless him.
Anyhoo here is my make!
It is for the Polkadoodles blog where the challenge is Anything but a square card and the Doobadoo challenge which starts on Sunday and is Christmas.
The image is from the Work & Play Festive Hollybobs CD as are the papers. The collection is also available as an instant download too! She is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. The shape of the card is cut using the Dutch Doobadoo shape art square 15x15cm.
All the dies are from Tattered Lace.
