Inspired by Tim
Good morning. It's time for some mid challenge inspiration over at the Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog. The challenge for this fortnight it "Inspired by Tim" and of course we mean Tim Holtz. For my project I decided to do a tag and here it is.
I started off by cut a piece of cream card into the shape of a tag and then distressing it with the Orange extra dark Pan Pastel. I then used a small stamp from the PCB Roses stamp set and randomly stamped it with distress ink. I then mixed the Orange PP with some Light Modelling Paste and used it with the Butterfly Mask . I then inked the edges of the tag with a distress ink. Finally I used the Butterfly stamp from the PCB Postcard stamp set. I drew some lines and added them measurements and the distress the piece of card as before. I used the Orange Pan Pastel to colour the butterfly. Finally I added some string and lace.

Punches and Die Cuts
Good morning blogland, and happy Choosday everyone! That means that it is time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday. And the challenge we have set this time is to use punches or die cuts, or both if you wish.
Here is my DT make:
The image, papers, sentiment and embellishments are from the stunningly beautiful Rose Budd CD. I have coloured the character with my Graph'It Markers. As you can see I have used die cuts. The tree, the small corners and the large corner are all from Tattered Lace, and I think they all work well with each other and with this CD.

Roses are a girls best friend
It's time for some mid challenge inspiration over at Premium Crafts Brands Challenge blog for the Roses are a Girls Best Friend challenge. For my make I have altered a photo mount.
I started by painting the mount with white gesso. I then mixed some Turquoise Pan Pastel with some Maimeri Light Modeling Paste to give the light blue background. I then placed the Butterfly Mask/stencil over the mount and went over it with a Versamark Inkpad to make it tacky. Then I went over the stencil with the Ultramarine Blue Pan Pastel. Then I used the Black Pan Pastel around the aperture and the edges of the mount to make it pop. Finally I made some rolled roses and coloured some stamped butterflies with the same Pans as before.

Elegant!
Hello all, I am on the naughty step today as should have had this posted yesterday! I think I was all giddy with my Step Sons wedding weekend.
So here is my latest make for the Tattered Lace Challenge Blog, the theme for July is Elegant.
I have used an embossed background on Centura Pearl card and the cut the mats with the same card. I have then used the High Heel Glam die for the centre piece. I think this die screams elegance don't you! And I so wish I could walk in those heels! Finally I have used a gold ribbon and some matching hat pins.

Aperture Card
Good morning and Happy Choosday to you all. This weeks challenge at Digi Choosday is to use an Aperture card. If you don't know what one of those is it is a card that has a cut out piece in the front.
Here is my make:
Here is my make:
The beautiful image is by Emma Canning and is called Summer Stroll. She is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. I made the aperture card myself using some Spellbinders dies. The papers are from the Bonbon Belles Double CD as is the bunting. The butterfly is from one of the Tattered Lace mags and the ribbon and flowers are from my stash.
I have used some of the same paper to mat behind the image on the inside of the card to frame it.
