Digi Choosday challenge week 16

Good morning blogland, I am celebrating my birthday today by doing nothing but crafting all day! My wonderful hubby has bought me an eBosser for my pressie to save my arms aching from winding my Grand Calibur, and I have to say, I love it! It cuts all my Tattered Lace dies perfectly, 1st time through!

So as well as my birthday, it's Tuesday again so you know what that means, it's time for a challenge at Digi Choosday. The challenge this week is "Number It". Here is my card
The image and candle number are from the Digistamp Heaven CD which is full of Emma Canning's images. The papers are from the Work & Play Collection 1. I've used the Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art 1 stencil and some Dutch Doobadoo Denim Jeans - 2 sheets Dark to create the mats and layers. The hearts and small crown are also from Dutch Doobadoo. I have coloured them with Pan Pastels. The large crown is a Sizzix die cut which is cut from Kraft card and coloured with the Rich Gold - Metallic Pan Pastel.

Premium Craft Brands Challenge

I am here again, this time with the challenge at Premium Craft Brands. The challenge this week is "Go Grungey". Here is my project

It started out life as a cheap £1 canvas. I started off by covering it with a cheap emulsion paint. I then mixed some Maimeri Light Modeling Paste with the Orange Pan Pastel and placed the Butterfly caught Mask/stencil 12x12" over the canvas and applied the mix around the outer part and the inner part of the stencil. I then mixed the Orange Extra Dark Pan Pastel into the paste and applied that through the middle part of the stencil. I then used the Dark Orange PP around the edge of the canvas to distress it and the used Black Pan Pastel right at the edge of the canvas. I used the same Pan Pastels to colour the lace, the clay flowers and the stamps, and the paste mixed with the PP's to cover a silver ornament that broke off of a Christmas bauble.

We Do Doobadoo challenge week 4

It's time for a new challenge over at We Do Doobadoo and it is "Embelish It"
Here is my project
I decided I needed somewhere to keep all my lovely Doobadoo products in so got to work with the little box. I cut the papers down to size and distressed all the edges with ink. I then used some Maimeri Glassy Gel through the Mask/Stencil Art A5 - Squares to give a texture to the papers.

I then used some Gilding Flakes over the top of Cardboard/Kraft Art A5 - Crowns. I then used the Mask/Stencil Art A5 - Abstract with some Maimeri White Gesso mixed with a Permanent Red - Pan Pastel over the top of some wooden butterflies and glued them on.
Now all my goodies are in one place so I'll never lose them!

Polkadoodles challenge week 16

Hello everyone it's time for a new challenge over at Polkadoodles today and the challenge is Easter.
I've take the challenge on with the true meaning of Easter, which for me is all about new beginnings, and here is my project.

I've used the bird house from the Candy Doodles COLLECTORS EDITION CD-Rom, I absolutely adore this CD, it has to be one of my fave ones ever! I've printed out the templates onto the back of papers from the CD that I printed onto card. When I cut them out I added some Weathered Wood Distress ink around the edges of everything.
And so for the theme I have made a little nest out of some tree bark and added it inside the birdhouse with some baby birds in with mummy bird watching over them.

The image, papers, sentiment and trees are all from the CD. The die cut cupcake and tree are from Tattered Lace. I have coloured the image with my Graph'It Markers and given it a light spray with Graph'It fluid to give it a bit of texture.

Hello everyone, it's time for our fortnightly challenge at We Do Doobadoo and this time the challenge is to use Buttons and bows. And this project is also for the Premium Craft Brands challenge which is Shabby Chic. So here is  my project.
I've decided to go pretty this week to show how versatile the products are, you don't have to be a grungy or arty crafter, you really can use them for anything! I have embossed a piece of card using the stencil and have then coloured through it using Pan Pastels. I have used the Spun Sugar distress ink around the edges of the paper and card after using a file to slightly distress them. I have made the bow from Spider web.
The products I have used are:
Mask/Stencil Art A5 - Flower Swirl                                                      Card/Paper laser Art A5 - Lanterns
