Christmas easel card

One of my mums clients mum (my mum is a carer) had been looking for a card for her daughter who suffers from MS and was telling my mum she couldn't find anything suitable anywhere, so of course my mum said "my Daughter can do you what you want". And this is the card:

I do hope she likes it! The lady wrote the verse herself which is very moving indeed.

The image is one that was sent to me by a friend before I started getting into Tilda, isn't it cute! It is coloured with ProMarkers. The textured card and papers are from DCWV, as is the message sticker. I have used a Martha Stewart punch around the page set, and the ribbon and flowers are from my stash. I wasn't sure about putting flowers on a Christmas card but I think it look ok. What do you think?

Dotties World challenge & blog candy

There's a challenge over at Dotties World this week to win some fabulous blog candy.
The challenge is anything goes.

This is what they say
"Yes this really is anything goes. All we want to see is a Christmas project - card, layout, anything at all, and for a change it does not matter if it doesn't have one of the Charmed downloads on it. Just enter a link to your work in Mr Linky below and link to the challenge on your blog - please also mention the candy in your post. :-) Please do not link to old posts, it must be a new post on your blog.

We are giving away a gorgeous prize with this challenge: a BEAUTIFUL Bo Bunny Noel Collection Pack."

So this is the card I've entered, it's for my fabulous Hubby for Christmas

The image is from the fabulous new Santas Little Helpers collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts and is coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are from last years DCWV winter collection, as are the ribbons and chipboard shapes.

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Karen and here is what she says:

Conditional Christmas

This is the time we all make a start on our huge pile of Christmas cards - if it isn't then it should be as you surely don't want that last minute panic :-) To get you started we would like you to create a Christmas card, the condition here is that you must not use traditional Christmas colours, so I don't want to see any reds or greens, anything else is good to go. The only absolute must-have is of course one of the gorgeous Charmed downloads.

And here is my card:

The image is from the Charmed Christmas collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts and is coloured with ProMarkers. I've used my bug and the swiss dots embossing folder. The large snowflake is from a pressie from last Christmas and the small ones are done using an X-Cut punch.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Please make a card, project with an outdoor theme. That's the only requirement apart from obviously using one or more of the fabby Charmed Downloads".

This week my friends daughter asked me to make her a journal to use in 6th form, so I thought I'd do it for the challenge. And here it is:
The image is from the Girls about town collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts
and is coloured with my ProMarkers. The papers are Papermania's Sweet Nothings.

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Louise and here is what she says:

"Hello Folks, Louise here. As this challenge goes live I will actually be sunning myself in Turkey! So I think it would be a fitting plan to make a beach/vacation themed card - make it sunny please! Don't forget your Charmed download!"

I decided to make a little holiday memories book instead of a card. I made one like it at a craft club a while ago and thought they would make lovely little gifts so have made a few for people.

And here it is:
The image is from the Holly and Madison world tour Collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts

I've coloured the image with Sakura pens for a change as I wanted it to have a glittery touch. The beach themed stamps are from a See D's set which I think is called "Lifes a beach"
The card and papers are from little stash :)

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Louise and here is what she says:

We haven't had a photo inspiration challenge for blummin ages! So here we go, use this picture as inspiration to make a card (or even something else!)- maybe it will be the colours, maybe the flower, maybe the romantic feel of it - there are no rules with inspiration challenges, it's how the picture effects and inspires you. Oh actually there is one rule! The rule is -and believe me some people still forget this one - USE A CHARMED DOWNLOAD!

Isn't it a stunning photo!

So here is the card that I have done:

The image is from the Charmed Christmas Collection which is available at Charmed cards and crafts It is coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are from the DCWV Christmas stack. The poissettia is cut out using a PM template.

"This week I thought you can get an easy challenge. We have to admit to ourselves at least, that we often get favourites. That can be a book, a flower, movie, friend a family member or whatever....

This week I want you to take your favourite Charmed One- a new or old and just make a card or project with it. You can do whatever you want, just have fun. But your favourite has to be a CHARMED DOWNLOAD.

So let me see lots of favourites this week, and have fun."

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Karen and here is what she says:

This week we would like you to frame something on your card. It could be framing an element, an image or indeed the card itself. Along with the frame I would like to see a few dots, how you present them is up to you. Please don't forget the most important part - a Charmed Download, which must feature somewhere on your card :-)

There is also an added bonus to the challenge:
Good news! From now on we will be giving you *something *on the first Sunday of each month! Strictly speaking this is the second Sunday of the month, but who's counting :-) This month there is a £10 voucher to spend in the Charmed online shop for one lucky participant in this weeks challenge. The draw will be performed at random.org and the result announced next Sunday. GOOD LUCK!

Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is set by Louise and here is what she says:

Well we have Father's day coming up (20th June)so what better opportunity could we have to make cards for our dads! I'd like you to make a Father's day card- don't worry if you have no use for a Father's Day card, please still play along and make any kind of masculine card, I'll leave that up to you. All I say is a MUST is that you use a Charmed download please.
So, as I don't have my Daddy around anymore I thought I'd make a card for my wonderful Hubby, and here it is:

As you can see it is an accordion card and I've used images from various George collections which are available at Charmed cards and crafts
The images are coloured with ProMarkers and the papers are from scrapbook set I got from Costco. I've distressed the card and paper using a file and Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distress ink. All the sentiments are computer generated.

Card for 2 challenges

This card is for 2 challenges this week.
The first challenge is at Oh Alice! The challenge this week is:
"what's YOUR MUCHNESS? We want to know the HEART of your stamping style. Whether it's your favorite embellishment, "signature style", fave technique...we WANT TO SEE the MUCHNESS!"

I've used a digital stamp on the card which is one of my fave things to use as you can re-size them to suit the card you are making.

The second challenge is Dotties World this week it is set by Gunn and here is what she says:
"On this one I kind of want to challenge myself and you guys has to come along on this one. I am not that clever to use the colour green on my card, I mean as the main colour. So on this one I want you to have green as the main colour on your card. And the rest is up to you, but you have to use a Charmed download for this one, that is in fact the most important thing. I also would like you to include a metal charm."

Well green is my worst colour too, I hate it and hardly ever use it.

Anyway, here is the card:
