Dotties World Sunday challenge

The challenge over at Dotties World this week is to use buttons or beads on your project. I've used an image from the Holly and Madison world tour collection available at Charmed cards and crafts
I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and added a bit of glitter to the hat and the edges of the sarong. The Paper is DCWV and the buttons and flowers are from my stash. The flourish is cut on my Robo.

Back from holiday...

...and trying to get back to normal. Well, as normal as I can be, lol.
I'm glad to get home for the rest I can tell you. The 1st few days of the holiday were horrendous. The tennants we'd had in the appartment for 7 months had stolen anything that wasn't tied down (bedding, towels, throws, rugs, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, dvd player, pillows, quilts, cushions, ornaments, cuttlery, crockery, pans and even the clock off the wall! And had wrecked the rest of the place, even drawn on the walls! The sofa is ripped to bits the cooker is ruined, I could go on an on.
So the 1st few days we spent decorating and on the phone and in meetings with the letting agent trying to get stuff sorted, but everything is done in Egyptian time of course, so one hour is one day, one day is one week and so on. We managed to replace some of the stuff over there but the rest we will get here and take back over next time we go. Would you beleive that Egyptian cotton bedding and towels are cheaper to buy here than they are in Egypt!!!! And as for the electrical stuff, oh well!
Anyway, moan over I'm going to try to forget about it for the next few weeks until we go back.

So back to card making and scrapbooking for a while. I must go see what challenges are to do and see if there are any new blogs out there I've missed.

I'll be back in a day or so with some brighter posts.
